Meet the Teacher

Mr. Schalles

This is my eight year teaching at Tamaqua Elementary School.  This year I will be teaching Science and Social Studies

I graduated from Tri-Valley Jr/Sr. High School and then went to East Stroudsburg University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

   I have been married for 9 years now.  My wife and I have three children, Myles who is 7, Stella who is 5 and is starting Kindergarten this year, and Wells who will soon be 4.

   I am huge sports fan.  Some of my favorite teams include Notre Dame Football, Minnesota Vikings, North Carolina Basketball, Indiana Pacers, and Atlanta Braves.  My other hobbies include spending time with my family, being outside, and traveling to different places.
