Welcome to 4th Grade!

Meet Mrs. Makovec

I have my degree in Elementary Education from Lock Haven University.  I taught for several years in the Hazleton Area School District, at different grade levels.  I then spent a few years away from the classroom to raise my children. Three years ago, I started teaching at Tamaqua Elementary.  This will be my first year in fourth grade.

My husband Mike and I have three children; Chance (8th grade), Tavin (7th grade), and Kylah (4th grade).  We have two dogs, Nola and Turks. My family loves sports and spending time outdoors. When I am not at school, you will usually find me at a field or court. 

I am looking forward to a great year!
