Homework
* Homework is given almost every night. Your son/daughter will have approximately two pieces of homework a night.
* Your son/daughter will be expected to have their homework in the following day.
*We have written procedures to follow from our administration when homework is not turned in on time:
First Occurrence: I will record it. I will warn the student, and keep the student from recess until the work is completed and then send them to recess.
Second Occurence: I will record it. I will contact the parents. Then I will keep the student from recess until the work is completed and then send the student to recess.
Third Occurence: I will record it. I will then contact the parents and the guidance counselor. The student will complete the homework at recess, but will not have recess that day.
Fourth Occurence: I will record it. I will then contact the assistant principal and the student will complete the homework at recess, but will not have recess that day.
Fifth Occurrence: I will record it. The student will be kept from recess until the work is completed. No recess will be given that day. A level one referral will be given to the assistant principal for an after school detention.
Every Occurrence after the Fifth: I will record it. The student will be kept from recess until the work is complete no recess that day. A level one referral will be filled out for an after school detention.
